people know where the fishes from vesak day and taoist temple
celebrations are released ... they just park themselves nearby and
help themselves with rod, net or trap. You'll see hordes of ah
laus, foreign workers, kayak anglers etc, around such areas for
weeks afterwards . The fishes usually do not stray far.
I've seen fellows returning with 40 snappers culled from such
releases.
Not everyone does that
Some release terrapins, others release baby asian catfish which
really damage the environment
Seriously release of animals should not be allowed even for
religious purposes
